Hydro-cyclone brief introduction;
Hydrocyclone utilizes centrifugal force to classify or separate muds from minerals before fine milling. It is one of most efficient classifiers.it has its own charactor of simple structure,best price ,large capacity and small volume.
Hydro-cyclone working principle;
Ore-mud can enter the drum with the help of a certain pressure (usually 0.5 to 2.5 kg / cm) and velocity (about 5 to 12 m / sec) that caused by slurry pump, and the ore-mud will rotate with the surface of drum, and cause quite strong centrifugal force, rough or big ore-sand will move downwards with the centrifugal force and gravity. Then they will be discharged from the underside of the cone, whereas some thin sand will be discharged from the overfalling pipe. There are many factors that affect the efficiency of the hydrocyclone, for example, when the diameter increases, the productivity and separating granularity will increase, the separating efficiency will decrease; and some other factors such as the size and shape of feeding mouth; the pressure when ore-mud enter the feeding mouth; sizes of overfalling pipe and sand-outputting poll, also the ratio of the diameter; the size of cone and the concentration of the ore-mud and so on.
