Vacuum Thin Film Evaporator
Vacuum Thin Film Evaporator for Water solution is an advanced evaporating unit under vacuum condition. The material is evenly distributed to the inner wall of heat exchange tubes by a distributor, and is flowing downward along the tube wall in thin film form under effect of gravity, vacuum and secondary steam. The steam is flowing outside heat exchange tubes to heat up the material. After heating, the material becomes a mixture of liquid and vapor, enters into the separator and get separated, so as to achieve concentration.
The Vacuum Thin film evaporator is widely supplied into food industry, pharmacy industry, chemical industry, enviromental protection industry and others, especially in food, chemical and enviromental protection industry.
Configuration and Principle
Vacuum Thin Film Evaporator for Water solution is composed of heaters, separators, condenser, liquid-vapor separator, balance tank, secondary steam pipeline, thermal compression pump, vacuum pump, charging pump, discharing pump, circulating pumps, condensate discharging pump, electrical control cabinet, operation platform and pipe fittings.
Tubular evaporator: vertical and tubular evaporator, seamless tubes as heat exchange tube, both ends are connected by a perforated tube sheet, at the upper end there is a sprayed distributor, at the lower end there is a vapor-liquid outlet connecting with the separator.
The material is evenly distributed to the tube wall of each evaporating tubes, is heated up by the steam in film form and is flowing downward under effect of vacuum and gravity, and entering into the separator at the outlet.
Separator: vertical barral, cone botton for discharging of concentrate, the secondary steam is discharged from the top.
Vapor-liquid separator: it is mainly for preventing the tiny liquid drops produced during evaporation from secaping with secondary steam, reducing loss of material and preventing the pollution to the pipeline and cooling water.
Condenser: it is used for condensing the bulky secondary steam produced during evaporation into liquid by cooling water, so as to ensure concentration to proceed smoothly. And also separate the non-condensable vapor from secondary steam and c ooling water, which will be pumped out by a vacuum pump, reducing the volumetric loading of vacuum system. Tubular surface condenser, is high in heat transfer efficiency, easy to maintance.
