Hydrocyclone
Hydrocyclone is a continuously device that utilizes centrifugal force to accelerate the settling rate of particles. It is one of the most important devices in the minerals industry, its main use in mineral processing being as a classifier, which has proved extremely efficient at fine separation size.
Description
Hydraulic cyclone is widely used in concentrate of nonferrous and ferrous, chemical, pharmaceutical, ceramics and other industries. It is mainly applied to the process of second paragraph grinding, coarse or concentrates re-grinding and the closed-circuit composed by mechanical grading machine, its grading operation is according to the particle size.
Working Principle of LZZG Hydrocyclone
Slurry is introduced under pressure through inlet in tangential or involute direction (depending on feeding way of the inlet head) into the hydrocyclone. Under centrifugal force, large particles will move downwards along outer swirling flow and be discharged through apex as underflow while fine particles will move upwards through inner swirling flow and be discharged from vortex finder as overflow.
