Cassava/potato starch is very common in many countries especially Nigeria, Indonesia, and some other South African countries. Henan Dowin Machinery company developed new production process and technology to obtain high quality starch from cassava, potato, and so on. 

The production flow of starch extraction includes washing&peeling, crushing, filtering, de-sanding, concentrating and refining, de-watering, drying and strach packing, all which together with water pipes to make themselves a high-efficiency, automatic, and complete production line for satrch making. 

Some of the above processes use not only one single set of machine but several sets of machines to achieve high-effeciency. All the contact parts are made by 304 S.S. 

Washing&peeling part

To remove the stone, sand or soil from the fresh cassava root, and peel it. (The peel of cassava is poisonous.)

Crushing part

To make the starch out from the cassava. With advanced technology, our machine can make the 98% starch out from the cassava.

Filtering part

To remove the sand and residues and milk from the wet starch.

Concentrating&refining part

To refine, concentrate and whiten the starch, and remove the yellow from the starch milk.

De-watering part

To remove the water in the starch milk. After dewatering, the water content of wet starch will be 40%.

Drying part

To make the wet starch with 40% water be 13% water dry starch.

Strach Packing part

To pack the dry starch in bags of 5-5000g/bag or 5-50kg/bag.
