Normally in cassava processing plant , the fresh cassava be processed into three kinds of cassava products by different cassava machine : Cassava Starch Flour ,Cassava Milling Flour and Gari.

 1.The simple  Introduction of the cassava starch processing machine

Cassava starch processig machine using the wet process of starch production, do not add any additives, the 

entire process is mature technology, advanced equipment, scientific, rational process. Starch production process is 

the cleaning - the broken solution → screening → concentrated refined - dehydration → drying six Section design. Especially for crushing section, National Pantent Curved Mesh Crusher is used to  broken solution andscreening Section, smash through the multi-level, multi-level filtering, multi stage extrusion followed by a unique 

process cycle, with low energy consumption starch extraction rate, starch and good quality, improve production

 line efficiency and starch extraction rate.

 >>Washing & Peeling Section

To cassava, the material is sent to cage washer through scrape board to get the result of decontamination, 

cleaning and peeling. Then through a paddle-washing slot, material is sent to crash section.

We adopt the rasper to crash materials. Compared with traditional crasher, it has the large capacity, high 

starch dissociation degree features, which are essential to get high starch recovery.

 >>Crush &  grinding section

Grinding fresh cassava root into cassava slurry to make it easy dewatering and drying.

 >>Extraction & Concentration & Refining Section

 The crashed material is sent to centrifugal sieve through pump to extract cassava starch and separate cassava residues.Centrifugal sieve group are 4 or 5 stages, the front stages is to extract starch and the last stage is to dewater the cassava residues. The whole stage adopts countercurrent washing to get the best results and saving water.

 >>De-watering section  

Sending the fine slurry to dewatering machine to remove the moisture inside the slurry, and then 

send it to the air dryer. Compared with other starch, it is more suitable for cassava starch to de-water by vacuum filter. Moisture content of dewatered starch is 38~40%. Wet starch is sent to drying system through belt conveyer. 

 >>Drying section

 Drying the de-watered cassava starch in the air dryer to get dry product. 

 Dried cassava starch reaches sieving system. High efficiency cooling starch sifter is used to cool starch and get the 

best starch viscosity.

1 Cassava receiving, transporting and cleaning unit

the fresh cassava roots transported by the conveyor into the feeder of the cleaning machie,then the

cleaning and peeling  machine will remove the dirt and other foreign matters completely. Finally,  the cleaning cassava in a temporary storage hopper into the next procedure-the grinding and rasping section automaticly.

 2 Cassava rasping&grinding unit( Curved Mesh Crusher)

The rasping unit is the most important part of cassava starch extraction. GoodWay  adopt the Curved Mesh Crusher( national patentenjoyed)with high efficiency allows the starch granules 

in the cassava cells to be released out completely,  Adopting the production arts  

as  mult-crushing ,mult-washing ,mult-filter,mult-extrusion etc.step by step automatically which ensures minimum quantity of the remaining starch in the cassava residue and seperating the starch , the cassava slurry and the cassava residue one time .

By completely crushing ,filtering ,and extraction to improve the starch quality and yields 

 at a very highly Standard ,also highly improve the production efficiency compared with the traditional cassava rasping production.

  3 De-sanding unit(Desanding cyclone)

Rasping cassava slurry is pumped through the fiber pump into the de-sanding cyclone. When the slurry enters de-sanding cyclone, the light phase of starch and cassava residue come out of the top as overflow, and the heavy phase like sands will be discharged from the bottom.

 4 Starch  concentration -  extracting and refine unit( starch hydrocyclone)

Starch hydrocyclone &Centrifugal extraction is another key unit which influences the cassava

 starch yields and quality. The cassava slurry enters the first stage centrifugal sieve from 

de-sanding cyclone,the slurry is separated into starch slurry and cassava residue under the

 centrifugal force. Starch slurry is pumped through the de-foaming pump to the hydro-cyclone station for washing starch, and the cassava residue is sent to second and third grade 

centrifugal sieves through fiber pump for starch recovery.the fresh water enters the hydro-cyclone from the other end which washes starch. The overflow enters two grade recovery 

station to recycle starch, the bottom flow is washed through the other grade washing 

cyclone to ensure that the starch slurry does not contain impurities and final starch

 will be in accordance with national standard .

 5.Starch dewatering unit( Vacuum Dehydrator and Overflow Air Flash Drying System) 

The starch out of the cyclone station has big moisture so it must be dewatered then dried. The starch slurry enters vacuum dewatering filter tank from the starch milk buffer tank. Under the vacuum formed by the vacuum pump, the starch slurry is sucked to the drum surface, then filtrate goes through filter mesh and enters the filtrate separating tank. The starch cake remains on mesh surface and is scraped off by a scraper and transported by the conveyor belt into the air dryer. Then weighing and packing.
