The BT-1800 dynamic image particle size and shape analysis system is a multi-function image particle analysis system which is composed of microscope, CCD camera, circulating and dispersing system and particle image analysis software. It could shoot image continuously when sample is flowing, then transfers these images one by one to the computer for analysis of particle size and shape, etc. Its basic working procedure is that put the sample into circulating tank, through the processes of ultrasonic dispersing, stirring, circulating, etc., to convey well dispersed sample into tailor-made flow cell which is under the objective of microscope. Meanwhile, shoot particle image and transfer real-time image to the computer for particle size and particle shape analysis. Finally, display and print analysis result. Its characteristics include automatically and continuously shoot images, easy operation, good sample representativeness and accurate and reliable result. It applies to abrasive, diamond, catalyst, paper pulp fiber, glass fiber, resin (including polishing resin, ion exchange resin and absorbent resin), etc.
Principle:
Based on the statistics of pixel number contained by each particle, calculate equivalent circle area, so that diameter of equivalent circle area, diameter of equivalent sphere volume, aspect ratio etc of particles are obtained, and then get the data of particle size distribution.
