DRR-400, 560 Latex separator is a kind of high-speed separating equipment, used in concentration rubber and clarifying water and impurities in the latex. It has the advantages of high throughput; high separating rate. The dimensions of nozzles and feed tubes can be selected depending on the feeds. At present, it is widely used in producing latex in rubber plants all over the world. The machine has reliable structure, easy operation, and easy maintenance and so on. And to reduce stopping time, it adopted electromagnetic non-contact braking device. It had possessed some remarkable properties:It is reasonable in design;The parts are made of stainless steel or high quality steel;The bowl and its spindle and other high speed rotating parts are all tested by accurate dynamic balancing.
In order to make the machine works properly and plays a better part in production, it must be correctly installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the instruction manual.
Separating Principle
Fresh latex is fed in by gravity, hence the overhead store pool used as a pressure tank, through a 2 to 5-inch steel main pipe (Its diameter depending on the number of machine). The filtering float regulated tank between store pool and main pipe is employed to maintain a constant pressure in the main pipe. The tank is connected to the main pipe and machine feed pipe with a 3/4” pipe, shut-off cock and 3/4” rubber hose respectively.
The centrifugal force produced by the high-speed rotating bowl makes it possible to separate water and impurities from latex because of different specific gravity. The concentrate flows out of the upper cover outlet to its collecting chute while skim to its own chute from the lower cover outlet. Cleaning the impurities should be done 2 hours later; stop the machine first and then remove with a sludge knife the impurities coagulated inside the bowl.
For tilting, dismantling, cleaning and assembling the bowl, lifting equipment, wash basin and tillable holder are necessary. To increase production, a spare bowl is recommended so that the machine can go on working even if its bowl needs cleaning. 1 to 3 separators require one spare bowl while 3 to 6 separators should have 2 spare bowls. Installation
1. Machine position depends on the convenience of operation and maintenance.
2. Screw the machine on the big vibration damper. First, place properly the machine without rubber washer to see that bolts function well, otherwise, it would affect the damping effect. Correct the machine level and make certain that all fulcrum are in contact with the foundation. Should adjusting washers be used, they must be the same as rubber washers in diameter. Lift, then place the big vibration damper; position well the machine and check whether bolts stand on the foundation; again place the small damper, tighten M16 nut until it touches the small damper’s cover and then turn half a round more; finally, screw on the cap to fix the damper.
3. Grouting should be done with bolts in; and the machine has to be installed 2 weeks from then.
4. The connecting cable to the motor must be long enough so that it can be easily moved for the convenience of dismounting and mounting.
