Mechanical Vapor Recompression Evaporator
MVR is:. "Mechanical vapor recompression," the abbreviation (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) The basic principle is: the waste heat steam generated in the process of evaporation by countercurrent washing and mechanical recompression, improving cleanliness and waste heat steam enthalpy, re-use, to achieve energy saving and environmental protection purposes. MVR evaporator (low pressure steam distillation) is currently the most advanced vaporizer technology, which is characterized as follows: 1) there is no waste heat steam emission, energy-saving effect is very significant, equivalent to 10-effect evaporator.
2) use of the technology can achieve countercurrent washing of secondary steam, condensate and therefore dry matter content is much lower than many evaporator.
3) the use of low-temperature vacuum evaporation (50-90 ℃), helps prevent high temperature variability is evaporated material.
4) MVR evaporator is a traditional multi-effect falling film evaporator replacement, single-effect evaporator is adopted on the basis of secondary steam countercurrent washing and recompression reused.
Where single-effect and multi-effect evaporator suitable materials are suitable for use MVR evaporator, technically completely irreplaceable, and has better environmental protection and energy saving features. MVR evaporator technology because of its energy-saving effect is remarkable, rapid development in the 1970s abroad, is now widely used for industrial wastewater treatment and dairy products, sugar, starch, aluminum, paper, caprolactam, desalination, coking plant (recovery of sulfur dioxide produced ammonia), and many areas of production of salt chemicals.
