1. More safety
PTC heaters usually run at 518F(270C) maximum, and the hot red wire traditional heaters can reach 900°F (482°C). As you might think, lower running temperature will bring an smaller increase in safety. As well, because PTC stones or chips do not generate heat at a constant rate, they will cool down quickly to avoid overheating. Even if you forget to turn off the device and leave it there, the temperature will not go rocketing high to like 400C.

2. Longer lasting
Like any of the other equipment, the higher and longer temperatures stay, the shorter the lifespan will be. It is also like the overheated cellphone or laptop. So if we put the temperature tester probe in a different position of the heating plate, it has different temperature speed.
