The technical standards
The MNS2.0 system is a modular low-voltage switchgear (TTA) according to the standards of IEC61439-2-2011 and GB7251.12-2013.The installation and connection of the system is performed according to IEC364 and DIN VDE0105 standard.
Work and environmental conditions
MNS2.0 low voltage switchgear is one kind of electrical equipment that is suitable for indoor installation, and the protection level of switchgear under other working conditions can be reached to IP54.

The short-term maximum temperature: | +40℃ |
The 24-hour maximum average temperature: | +35℃ |
The minimum temperature: | -5℃ |
The equipment should be run with reduced capacity once the ambient temperature is higher than the above.
All operations should be complied with the manufacture's requirement under working conditions such as measuring,measuring instrument and protective relays and so on.
Environmental conditions
- When working normally,the detailed climate environment should be referenced to provisions of IEC60439-1,EN60439,Part 500 in VDE0660.And the ambient humidity is 50% in 40℃.
- The conditions of the indoor installation of the switchgear shall meet the requirements of the corresponding standards. In the case of condensation, ventilation or heating lamp will be used to prevent condensation.
- If the switchgear is installed in the areas whose altitude is above 2000 meters, the equipment should be operated with reduced capacity accordingly.

*TTA stands for a confirmed model or series of low-voltage switchgears and control equipments,whose performances are completely the same with those kinds of complete sets of equipments that have passed the verifications that totally conform to corresponding standards,and no any differences that may affect performance exist.
The designs for structure
Frames
The basic parts of MNS2.0 system frame are the C-shaped framework with 25mm interval holes for modules(According with DIN43660).
The standard module value for MNS system is E=25mm,because of adopting the standard module hole system,Framework structures can be assembled into various types of cabinets without any special tools,such as frontally-operation type of switchgears,back-to-back type with single set of switchgears and back-to-back combination with multiple sets of switchgears.
The shell
The shell of MNS2.0 system can be designed with different protection levels according to different usage requirements.The shell of IP30 can be chosen for back-operation type of switchgears and united-screen type of switchgears.The protection grade for totally enclosed ones can be from IP40 to IP54(All of draw-out type of switchgears are fully enclosed structure.)Hinge-type framework can be used for the installation of electronic device and the dash board or as the device frameworks.The mounting position of the hinged frames can be mounted with/without the covers for observation holes.The base plates can be provided for the bottom of cabinets,and the base plates mounted with flange plates can be used for installation of cable troughs.The door plates and shell plates can be fitted with single/multiple vent holes,and the roof plates of switchgears can be fully ventilated(suitable for IP40 and IP41’s ones).
