What is Chromatography Column in fructose production line ?
1.Chromatography column is a system used to purify individual chemical compounds from mixture of compounds. It is often used for preparative applications on scales from micrograms up o kilograms. The main advantage of column chromatography is the relatively low cost and disposability of the stationary phase used in the process. The latter prevents cross-contamination and stationary phase degradation due to recycling.
2.The mobile phase or eluent is either a pure solvent or a mixture of different solvents. It is chosen so that the retention factor value of the compound of interest is roughly around 0.2 - 0.3 in order to minimize the time and the amount of eluent to run the chromatography. The eluent has also been chosen so that the different compounds can be separated effectively. The eluent is optimized in small scale pretests, often using thin layer chromatography (TLC) with the same stationary phase.
3.The individual components are retained by the stationary phase differently and seprate from each other while they are running at different speeds through the column with the eluent. At the end of column the elute one at a time. During the entire chromatography process the eluent is collected in a series of fractions. Fractions can be connected automatically by means of fraction collector. The productivity of chromatography can be increased by running severals columns at a time. In this case multi stream collectors are used. The composition of the eluent flow can be monitored and each fraction is analyzed for dissloved compounds, e.g. by analytical chromatography, UV absorption spectra, or flourescence. Colored compounds( or flourscent compounds with the aid of a UV lamp) can be seen through the glass wall as moving bands.

Syrup glucose FAQ

1. What is the raw material for producing the glucose syrup ?
Reply :  Corn , broken rice  and  all kinds refined starch can be used to produce glucose syrup.

2. What is your glucose syrup production line output capacity ?
Reply :  From 0.5 ton per hour to 20 ton per hour .  We  can design new glucose syrup production line according to  the  customer special requirements.

3. What is your glucose syurp production process , acid process or acid -enzyme process or double-enzyme process ?
Reply : Our glucose production process is double-enzyme process .  Only this kind process can produce glucose from corn or broken rice directly . The glucose produced from acid process and acid- enzyme process has too much by product inside , the glucose sweet is impure . The acid will make severe corrosion to the production equipment .
