Dextrose is odorless crystal or white powder with sweet taste. Soluble in water freely, and in alcohol sparingly. It is made from refined corn starch by advanced biological technology. Dextrose is glucose of vegetable origin, obtained through enzymatic hydrolysis of corn starch. Its sweetness (in 10% n/m solution) is equivalent to the 75% of the sucrose.
