A digital VTF gauge that allows near record-level VTF stylus force measurements. The detachable record-level extension arm places the stylus tip approx. 3 mm from surface of turntable platter!
Includes two precision calibration masses: 20 g and 5 g. Precision strain gauge sensor provides 0.005 g resolution. Manufactured using non magnetic materials (durable plastic housing with austenitic stainless steel cantilver extension arm). Polymer pad on loading platform for centering of stylus and to protect stylus tip. With appropriate calibration mass, this gauge can be re-calibrated for use up to 100 g.
Switchable units: g/oz/dwt/ct, Low Battery and Overload indication. Compact size 52mm (W) x 95mm (L) x 12mm (H). The measuring platform of the cantilevered record-level extension arm places the stylus tip approximately 3 mm from the scale base.
