1.Beer fermenter tank is made of high quality stainless steel,. The bottom is a 60°small conical bottom,which is designed for fermenting and improving beer. Our conical fermenteration tank can make according to customer's requirement for the structure, single-layer, double-layer(jacket) and three-layer(insulation layer) or make dimple jacketed or limpet coil(inside or external ) to heat and cold. All the connections adopt round coner transitional welding,which are free of dead corner and easy to be cleaned.it completely meet the hygiene standard. The cooling jacketed can achieve all countries’ standard,it adopts dimple plate to exchange heat.the jacketed are provided at tank body and cinical bottom to effectively increase the cooling speed.

Tank part:

Cooling means: dimple plate jacket cooling
Coolant medium: glycol or cooling water
Isolation material: PU Foam,it can keep warm well.
Inner and outer of the tank are all made of SUS304 stainless steel, the internal side by mirror polished, the external is polished by auto-polishing machine.

The external cladding is 2mm.
On the bottom there is a drain , on the top there is an vent and CIP port, coolant in and coolant out pipe.
The tank body is equipped with manhole temperature gauge , pressure gauge, sample valve,safety,ball valve, butterfly valves, CIP ball and CIP pipeline etc.

Normaly,for capacity less than 500L, we use top manway, and more than 500L, we use side manway.

1.Do I need permits?
Yes there may be many permits required to start a new distillery depending on where you are located. Besides the federal permitting with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) there may be state and local laws requiring permits.

2.Do you offer any type of warranty or technical support?
We offer two(2) year limited warranty. We are always available by phone or email for technical support.

3.Why do I need copper?
Copper provides an essential chemical reaction, especially at lower proofs, that removes sulfides while the alcohol is in vapor form.Copper has the ability to react with many sulfide compounds, such as sulfides or mercaptans, which are normally present in fermented mash, making them insoluble and removing them from the high wine vapor. As this chemical reaction proceeds within the still, a bright copper surface becomes very dark in color. For continuation of effective scavenging, it is necessary periodically to clean the still to remove these black deposits.

4.Will someone from DYE come and set the equipment?
While it is not included in the price, we absolutely can. Installations which include assembling and leveling equipment, are done on a time and material basis. A rate sheet for your area can be provided upon your request.

5.Will someone from DYE train me on how to oerate the equipment?
Because we specialize in equipment design and manufacturing, we recommend contacting a consultant regarding your particular product line. While we offer general guidelines, a consultant will be able to offer a more specific set of instructions, often tailored to the product(s) you plan on producing.

8.Which is better and more productive – a Reflux Still or a Pot Still?
Both types of Still will remove the alcohol from a wash or mash, therefore the productivity is basically the same.
A Reflux Still refines the distillate to a high degree, producing a distillate of very high alcohol content with very little of the ‘character’ of the wash or mash coming through. A Reflux Still is a must for producing neutral spirit or Vodka.
A Pot Still produces a distillate with much lower alcohol content but with a correspondingly increased level of the ‘character’ coming through. This is important for distilleries producing Spirits such as Whisky, Tequila and Rum etc. where the character of the base ingredients is required in the final product.

9.How difficult is it to make spirits at home?
It is really simple to make spirits you will love to drink. It is an easy 4 step process.
Firstly the sugar and water is turned into alcohol by fermenting with yeast. Secondly, you separate the purified alcohol from the water in the wash by distilling. Distillation is done by heating the wash in a still, boiling off the alcohol and condensing the vapour back into a liquid. Thirdly, use a carbon filter to filter out most of the remaining trace impurities. You will now have a clean spirit at 40% with no flavours or tastes.Finally, simply add your favourite spirit or liqueur essence to make your favorite, scotch bourbon rum or liqueur. There are hundreds to choose from
